AVM has announced the availability of the new FRITZ!OS 7.80. This free update brings new features and improvements for four FRITZ!Box models: FRITZ!Box 5590 Fiber, 5530 Fiber, FRITZ!Box 7590 AX, and FRITZ!Box 7530 AX.

The FRITZ!Box 5590 Fiber and FRITZ!Box 5530 Fiber now have a new screen that informs the user about the status and quality of the connection. With the FRITZ!Box 7590 AX and FRITZ!Box 7530 AX, it is even easier to manage the fiber optic connection thanks to the guided configuration.
CONFIGURAZIONE INIZIALE TRAMITE MYFRITZ!App
With FRITZ!OS 7.80, the four FRITZ!Box models are equipped with the assistant for the initial configuration of MyFRITZ!App. It will be available soon for iOS and Android. This guided procedure allows you to set up a new FRITZ!Box on a fiber optic connection or a DSL connection directly with your Smartphone or Tablet.

The upgrade to FRITZ!OS 7.80 is available in the user interface of the FRITZ!Box (System>Update>Check for new FRITZ!OS). Alternatively, through the automatic update function.
FRITZ!POWERLINE 1240 AX WLAN SET
The FRITZ!Powerline 1240 AX WLAN can reach up to 1,200 Mbit/s with MIMO 2 x 2 technology, promising stable connections and transfer speeds never seen before. FRITZ!Powerline 1240 AX WLAN allows high-speed multimedia Streaming and definition to reach even the furthest rooms.
In addition, the Powerline gigabit technology compliant with the HomePlug AV standard with MIMO 2 x 2 guarantees stable Powerline connections and, thanks to the use of MIMO and Diversity, achieves transfer speeds of up to 1,200 Mbit/s on the existing electrical line.
